He was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 2004 and is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Attorney J. Samuel Worley holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in social work from the University of Tennessee. He earned his Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School, where he was a member of the Moot Court Executive Board.


Prior to founding the firm, attorney Worley served as a felony prosecutor with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he handled hundreds of cases across 28 police departments and municipalities. He currently provides his legal services at our local law office and Grace & Thompson.
